‘Home Game’: AMPP Members Enjoy Record 2026 Show in Houston

The 2026 AMPP Annual Conference + Expo in Houston finished with a record 6,345 total registrants, surpassing the 2024 New Orleans event by more than 400 attendees.

Compared with the 2025 Nashville conference, the Houston show exceeded its final attendance figure by more than 800 registrants. The event included approximately 72 new exhibitors, 13 new sponsors, and more than 350 exhibiting companies, with robotics and drone technologies among the standout themes in the Exhibit Hall.

New: 10+ Year Certification Recognition Badge

AMPP is introducing new Certification Recognition Badges to honor professionals who have maintained certification in good standing over time, including a badge for those who have held certification for 10+ years.

Eligible professionals can access their badge through the My Certification Portal and use it across professional networks.

AMPP Announces 2026 World Corrosion Awareness Day Theme

AMPP, in collaboration with global partners, announced the 2026 World Corrosion Awareness Day theme: “Did You Know? | The Corrosion Conversation.”

Observed globally on April 24, WCAD 2026 will use short-form, social-first content to challenge misconceptions, highlight the real-world consequences of corrosion, and recognize the professionals working to prevent it.

TalentForce Hosts Inaugural Workforce Development Panel at AMPP 2026

TalentForce, AMPP’s workforce development company, hosted its inaugural panel during the 2026 AMPP Annual Conference + Expo in Houston. Panelists represented employers, workforce agencies, education, and corrosion technology programs.

The discussion emphasized modernizing workforce models, creating stronger career pathways, and reinforcing the importance of skilled trades and technical careers.
