AMPP and DoD Continue Partnership to Strengthen Military Readiness Through Corrosion Training
AMPP continues its long-standing partnership with the U.S. Department of Defense to provide corrosion and protective coatings training and certification to military personnel across all branches. The next round of courses runs from September 30, 2025, through March 29, 2026.
Funded by the DoD Corrosion Policy and Oversight Office, the program equips service members with expertise in corrosion prevention, cathodic protection, surface preparation, coatings application, and coatings inspection.
Funding is first-come, first-served and covers course registration and materials; travel is not included.

AMPP Updates CIP Level 2 Course
AMPP has rolled out an updated Coating Inspector Program (CIP) Level 2 course designed to better align with evolving industry standards and modern inspection practices.
The revised course features a streamlined practical exam, upgraded inspection equipment, expanded hands-on exercises, refreshed case studies, and improved course flow.
India’s Maritime Revolution: Corrosion Control & Shipbuilding Growth
Join AMPP for a webcast exploring India’s rapidly modernizing shipbuilding and repair sector. Learn how effective corrosion control, strategic investments, and supportive policies are helping India strengthen its global maritime position while extending vessel lifespan and improving safety.

Due to the federal government shutdown, both the Maritime and Energy Fly-Ins originally scheduled for November 2025 have been canceled. AMPP is actively working to reschedule these important advocacy events for 2026.
